The Daily News Plugs a Hole
June 16, 2009 at 12:56pm
This just goes to show “the power of small” to something wrong – no matter how small – and you won’t be able to live it town if you’re in the public eye. There’s a great new book out called “The Power of Small” by Thaler and Koval that really delves into the subject from a marketers perspective..interesting read.

A Greek Tragedy for the Peterson Family
June 05, 2009 at 01:53pm
This is truly unfortunate and it saddens me that someone can spend their life building a name only to have someone else come in and tarnish it. PC probably doesn’t realize how his attitude and behavior negatively effects the whole family he probably only sees it as a reflection of himself. He clearly doesn’t understand “The Power of Small,” and given all of his money should invest in a copy of Kaplan Thaler and Robin Koval’s new book titled just that.

The Polite Umbrella
May 29, 2009 at 08:39pm
This just proves “the power of small.” Good ideas are in the small details! Especially in this economy you really have to give people a reason to want to buy something and I love this umbrella – so ingenious! There’s actually a book out now called “The Power of Small” by Kaplan Thaler and Robin Koval that really delves into this idea that small things/actions can have a big impact…very interesting/useful to think about given the challenges we are now facing.

Southampton Gets the Axe
May 26, 2009 at 09:23am
I went here last weekend and loved it! Axe truly shows "the power of small." Yes it is sponsored by Axe, but you wouldn't really know it from looking at the lounge. It is all very tasteful and the marketing is in the small details (I actually didn't even know it was called "Axe" because of Axe deodorant till reading this), but the key is that it's effective and gets the Axe name out there to a very influential set of people without them even realizing! There's a great new book out called -- incidentally -- "The Power of Small" and it's all about how it's the small things that can make the most powerful impact..great to see this in my personal experience!

Subway Ridership Falls, Fares May Go Up
May 19, 2009 at 10:29am
This just goes to show "the power of small." I'm so sick of people saying o it's not a big deal if fares get raised it's only a few cents! Well I think that we will see a further decline not only because people are loosing their jobs and therefore riding the subway less, but also because people will opt to walk instead of paying for the increase! Sure a few cents is small taken alone, but not in the grand scheme of things and I predict it will have a sizable effect.
