Well, we protesters had only a few days notice (none of us are in the ASmallWorld network). We had no high-paid publicists, and no Champagne, canapes, gift bags, or even shelter from the cold and rain to offer our guests. However, we did have loud voices, and the message that human rights do matter, which seemed to be enough to keep many of the socialites away. Some of the very few people that did show up said that they supported us, or told us that if they had known about Leviev's abuses, they wouldn't have come at all.
