Tim Quinn is the resident makeup guru at Giorgio Armani.

Backstory

Born in Connecticut and raised in Boca Raton, Quinn tried his hand as a stockbroker and fashion model, but eventually decided to pursue makeup after catching a glimpse behind the scenes at a fashion show in Milan. His self-taught makeup skills were good enough to be noticed by legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath, who took him under her wing. When Armani launched its cosmetics line in 2001, Quinn was tapped as the company's resident expert. Officially Armani's "Celebrity Face Designer," he has painted the faces of Barbara Walters, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashley Judd and Gwen Stefani. (He dabbles in politics, too: He fixed up Al and Tipper Gore for the 2007 Academy Awards.) In addition to serving as the go-to makeup artist for lots of Hollywood hotties, Quinn is a regular talking head on entertainment shows.

Personal

Quinn—whose perma-tan rivals that of his boss, Maestro Armani—lives on East 77th Street.
