Rubenstein is the second-in-command and heir apparent at Rubenstein Associates, the fabled PR firm founded by his father, Howard Rubenstein, in 1954. He tends to handle many of the firm's younger clients as well as many of its media/entertainment clients like David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld, Observer owner Jared Kushner, and Tribeca Film Festival founders Jane Rosenthal, Craig Hatkoff, and Robert De Niro.
