After shutting his TIGER Fund in 2000, Julian Robertson has seeded 38 hedge funds. Professional investors now also call him the "world's greatest seeder". Many of those Tiger Cubs (or Tiger Seeds, to be precise) are hedge fund legends in their own right.
Opalesque's Matthias Knab spoke with Mr. Robertson on his talent and procedure when identifying hedge fund managers.
