Faith Kates is the co-founder and president of NEXT Modeling Agency, which represents models like Petra Nemcova.

Backstory

Kates got her start in the fashion industry working for Wilhemina models in the 1980s. She worked her way to supervising the agency's women's division before leaving to open up NEXT in 1989. Together with partner Joel Wilkenfeld, she's helped market the careers of Nikki Taylor and Milla Jovovich and expanded the agency into a worldwide operation with offices in model-scouting hotspots like Paris and Miami. Some of her most famous clients include Nemcova, Molly Sims, Daniela Pestova, Anja Rubik and Filippa Hamiliton, the face of Ralph Lauren.

Pet causes

Kates is president of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, where she helps organize the annual "Super Saturday" fundraiser in the Hamptons with women like Donna Karan and Kelly Ripa. She's also worked with charities like Carousel of Hope, which assists children with diabetes.

Personal

Kates is married to Jeffrey Kogan. The couple lives near Sutton Place, and spends weekends at their home in Southampton.
