Good News For Size Queens | Everyone lies when they fill out profiles on dating sites. But if you're willing to take a leap of faith—and you're a size-obsessed gay man—you'll no doubt be pleased to see the results from a survey compiled by the gay hookup site Manhunt.net. It assembled a list "of the states that are packing and the ones that are lacking," and New York comes out at No. 2 on the list. If you're skeptical about just how accurate the data is, consider it further proof that America's capital is home to more liars than any other place in the country. [Manhunt.net (NSFW!) via Buzzfeed

One of these men is dressed to go to work as the judge at Ocean Beach in Fire Island, a job that entails meting out "beach justice to young party perps," according to today's Daily News. Can you tell which one? Click through to the News article for the answer. [NYDN]

Jason Preston Is Not Looking Forward to the Weekend

Marc Jacobs is reportedly tying the knot this weekend in Provincetown to fiancé Lorenzo Martone. One person who is none too excited by the prospect that Jacobs is finally settling down: Jason Preston, Jacobs' "rent boy" ex-boyfriend, who was once so devoted to the designer, he had his logo tattooed to his forearm. We're not sure commiserating on Twitter with Courtney Love, of all people, is going to provide Preston much relief from his relationship blues—she's got issues of her own to worry about—but if you have a moment today and want to send him a tweet of encouragement (or maybe hire him to "host a party or event"), feel free to reach out. Most Fashionable Gay Wedding Ever: Postponed | If you've been opening your mailbox every afternoon wondering why you haven't received your invitation to Marc Jacobs' wedding to Lorenzo Martone—and you've been freaking out at the prospect that you didn't make the invite list—you can breathe a bit easier today: WWD reports that "the fashion world's most anticipated wedding" has been pushed back to August. "Martone attributed the delay to Jacobs' hectic work schedule, but said it is still planned for Provincetown, Mass., where Jacobs' business partner, Robert Duffy, has a vacation home." [WWD]

What Do You Buy the Man Who Has Everything?

142172Marc Jacobs has said he plans to tie the knot with Lorenzo Martone sometime this summer in Provincetown. But when? It doesn't really matter, of course, since you're not invited. But it will take place at some point over the next couple of months, and Provincetown is where it'll go down, according to a "source close to the couple" who spoke with WWD this week. But what if you are one of the lucky few who will be attending the most glam gay wedding ever? First off, you should know that you will not be able to just swoop down in your private jet: The Provincetown airport is a small one, which means "Jacobs' globe-trotting guests may have to travel to the Cape the old fashioned way: by boat." A horrifying prospect, yes. But a more daunting issue may be what to get the couple as a wedding gift. Fortunately, Fashion Week Daily has sorted it all out. You can look over some suggestions after the jump.More

Marc & Lorenzo Prepare to Head Down the Aisle | Wondering when Marc Jacobs will tie the knot with fiance Lorenzo Martone in what should go down as the gay wedding of the year? Martone says it will probably happen in June, and will probably take place in Provincetown, although guests will have to cool their heels a bit before really celebrating. The party is planned for December in St. Barts. [FWD]

Only the Gays Can Save Us Now | New York is facing an unprecedented $4 billion budget deficit. Who will rescue us from the ruin? The gays! The city kicked off an new ad campaign today designed to attract gay tourists to New York City. The $1.9 million marketing effort, which features the tag line "Join the rainbow pilgrimage," hopes to position a visit to NYC as a "rite of passage," a message that if the city truly took to heart would involve a night out at The Cock, not reduced rates at the Sheraton and discounted tickets to Phantom of the Opera and Madame Tussauds' wax museum. But, hey, the gays sure do love a recession, so it's worth a shot. [AP, Crain's]

Michael Bloomberg Plays the Tease | Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday that he's willing to support gay marriage in New York State. But he's really not sure "when the time will be right" for the passage of any legislation because, as we all know, the mayor never likes to move ahead with anything unless he has absolute consensus. "We see that the tide is turning, that support is mounting," the mayor told the annual dinner of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. "Make no mistake, the time will come... and we will pass this bill." Speaking of "time," the mayor should only have to keep repeating that line for 25 more weeks and hope the gay community turns out at the polls this November. [NYDN]

Marc Jacobs: Engaged!

137819It's been rumored for ages, but now it appears to be official: Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone are engaged. Women's Wear Daily reports the duo will go public with the news tomorrow when they arrive in Brazil "wearing rings." Then they'll head to Martone's hometown of Sao Paolo for a "fete celebrating the Marc Jacobs multibrand store." (You didn't expect the big news to get in the way of business, did you?) Jacobs and Martone haven't set a date for the wedding yet. But count on it being the chicest gay wedding of all time and starting about two hours late. [WWD]

'Raunchy, Yet Classy' | Many thanks to AdWeek's AdFreak blog for directing our attention to this new advertising campaign for Face to Face NYC, a day spa on West 20th Street. This ad here is one of a handful the company is now running in publications like HX, Genre, and Time Out New York. Face to Face describes the campaign as "raunchy, yet classy." (By the same logic, anal bleaching may be "all the rage," or just really popular with muscular "knot experts" named Sandor—you decide.) But you do have to give the spa some credit for not, er, beating around the bush. [AdFreak]

The NYPD's Gay Vice Squad | Do be careful if you have a habit of visiting sleazy video stores for anonymous, gay sex. It seems the NYPD is cracking down on the practice, possibly by sending in cops to pose as gay men. [Gay City News via EV Grieve]

Lists

New York Stressful, But Gay | When Forbes was compiling its list of America's most stressful cities, it hadn't even factored in this week's events on Wall Street, and yet NYC still made it to No. 2. (Chicago was No. 1.) But while life here may not be worry-free, you'll be happy to hear it's the third-best city in the whole world to be gay in! [Forbes, Independent]
