It's a big day for Woody Allen, too. He's 73. Bette Midler is turning 63. Sarah Silverman is 38. John Densmore, the drummer from The Doors, is 64. Actor Treat Williams is 57. Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal is 49. Brit actress Emily Mortimer turns 37. And former supermodel Carol Alt celebrates her 48th today.

Big Book Advances for Silverman, Seinfeld | Today is a good day for literary agent Dan Strone and the dark-haired Jewish comedians on client list. Leon Neyfakh reports that the bidding for Sarah Silverman's first book has topped $2.5 million. But Strone may have an even bigger deal in hand for one of his clients by the end of the week. It seems Jerry Seinfeld's latest book proposal has resulted in "two publishers crazy enough to submit bids in the $7 million to $8 million dollar range." [NYO]

Last Friday, Howard Stern finally made an honest woman of his lady love Beth Ostrosky. US Weekly has the official photos from the wedding, which took place at Le Cirque and was attended by Barbara Walters, Billy Joel and Katie Lee, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman, and Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who officiated. What Howard's perennial sidekick Robin Quivers says was a "clever, creative, fun party" appears to have been marred only by Ostrosky's dress: The Georgina Chapman-created number, unlike the designer's usual romantic, ethereal frocks, looks like it should have been accessorized with platform stripper shoes and a pole—which, come to think of it, would have been entirely appropriate.
