Happy Birthday | Salma Hayek turns 43 today. Keanu Reeves is turning 45. Tennis legend Jimmy Connors is celebrating his 57th. Former football great Terry Bradshaw is turning 61. Andy Grove, the former CEO of Intel, is 73. Peter Ueberroth, the former commissioner of Major League Baseball, turns 72. Actor Mark Harmon is 58. Jon Feltheimer, the CEO of the movie studio Lionsgate, is 58 as well. Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté is 50. Former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis is 44. Aimee Osbourne, the one child of Ozzy and Sharon that keeps a low profile, is turning 26. And comedian Katt Williams turns 36 today.

Mike Bloomberg's Unfulfilled Fantasy | Michael Bloomberg first mentioned he had a little thing for Salma Hayek a few years ago when he suggested he'd move into Gracie Mansion if Hayek moved in with him. It looks like the mayor is still clinging to the fantasy. According to Joyce Purnick, author of Mike Bloomberg: The Mogul and the Mayor, [deputy mayor] Patti Harris "has been known to scold him for his sly appreciations of the female form," and yet he still slips into "lusty reminiscences about celebrity conquests and equally colorful fantasies about how he would like to entertain Salma Hayek in Gracie Mansion." Could this be the reason Bloomberg has been increasingly "short-tempered, scolding, even petulant" in recent months? Let's hope someone gets these two in a room together so we can find out once and for all. [NYDN]

• Jack McCollough's orange Oakleys couldn't cover up the scratch left behind by Kiefer Sutherland's headbutt the other night, although thankfully the Proenza Schouler co-founder wasn't seriously injuried in the incident. McCollough's rep said today he was the victim of a "vicious, violent, unprovoked assault." And the NYPD seems to agree. Sutherland is expected to be charged with assault tomorrow. [People, NYP]
• You may have thought Azzedine Alaïa was having a lousy week what with the plot by Anna Wintour to snub him at the Costume Institute gala. But he appears to be rebounding nicely. Michelle Obama wore a lovely Alaïa number to the Time magazine party last night. [FWD]

• Diane von Furstenberg says she's absolutely "mortified" that one of her jackets resembles an item designed by the Canadian label Mercy. A full investigation is underway, however. [WWD]
