Ron Perelman Has a Yacht to Sell You

133805We all have to cut costs these days and clearly Ron Perelman is no exception: He's in the process of selling his yacht for $67 million. The 190-foot Ultima III comes with eight bedrooms and a Jacuzzi and is where, according to the Guardian, the billionaire financier has "entertained" Gina Gershon and director Penny Marshall on the "yacht's lengthy sun deck in recent years." We can't imagine serving up drinks to an aged Penny Marshall will go down as Perelman's most memorable moment at sea, but you're welcome to chalk up Gershon's presence as further evidence of her questionable taste in men. Assuming the thought of Perelman and Gershon romping around in the hot tub doesn't put you off—and you have the aforementioned $67 million to spare—you'll find the full brochure here.

The Friday Party Report

Lucky editor Kim France and publisher Gina Sanders welcomed Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr, Georgina Chapman, Katrina Bowden, Alexandra Richards, Charlotte Ronson, Thalia, Beverly Johnson, Ginny Barber, and Michaela McManus, who all did a little shopping to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation. One Year Older

Happy Birthday | It's a great day for sex scandal fans: Not only is Eliot Spitzer celebrating his 49th birthday today, but Gina Gershon, now at the center of a controversy over whether or not she had a fling with Bill Clinton, turns 46 today. Other birthdays: Furniture heir Eric Villency is 33. Hedge funder Richard Chilton is 50th. And nightlife impresarios Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum will no doubt be partying hard tonight when they turn 30 and 31 years old.

Lies: The New Facts

122430You have to wonder just how annoyed Gina Gershon is by all this chatter about her alleged affair with Bill Clinton: ginagershon.com hasn't seen this kind of traffic in years! The sultry actress turned up on Live with Kelly and Regis this morning (with Mario Lopez subbing for Rege), an appearance that we're sure had everything to do with her supporting role in Boeing on Broadway and absolutely nothing to do with her part in a political scandal that continues to swirl. Naturally, she took a moment to comment on the story that has had pundits talking their heads off for days: More

The Fallout: Bill Clinton, VF and Gina Gershon

  • Esquire's editor-in-chief David Granger says he never got a call from Bill Clinton, as the former president suggested in his comments last night when he was asked to respond to the incendiary Vanity Fair story by Todd Purdum. Turns out it was a measly staff editor who emailed. [Politico]
  • Clinton slams VF's Todd Purdum and calls him a "scumbag" before later apologizing. But it seems the damage has been done. Even Gina Gershon's reps are now asking for a retraction. [CNN, LAT, TMZ]
  • Slate's David Plotz and The Atlantic's Hanna Rosin try to recreate a silly stunt detailed in the Times several weeks ago. Hilarity ensues. [Slate, Observer]
  • Still no retraction from the folks at Entertainment Tonight, who reported (erroneously!) that Angelina and Brad had twins last week. [AP
