Retired astronaut Neil Armstrong is turning 79 today. Retired basketball player Patrick Ewing turns 47. DJ Funkmaster Flex is 41. Actress Loni Anderson is turning 63. High-end Manhattan real estate broker Edward Lee Cave is 70. Adam Yauch, one of the founding members of The Beastie Boys, is turning 44. The Brady Bunch's Maureen McCormick is 53. And Dawn Richard of Danity Kane celebrates her 26th birthday today.

DPC Shoots, Misses | It looks like David Patrick Columbia is in a bit of hot water. In his column this morning, the social diarist suggested that the real estate brokerage firms Corcoran and Edward Lee Cave were both shutting down. Did DPC just break the biggest story of his life? Maybe not: "It's all nonsense," Corcoran's Pam Liebman tells the Observer. "There's not an ounce of truth to it. Not an ounce of truth to it. And we're going to have our attorneys do something about it." As for Edward Lee Cave's eponymous firm, the real estate vet says there may be some changes to the "corporate structure," but he denies he's closing up shop. [NYO]

Most Expensive Apartment Sale Ever? | Real estate prices may be headed south, but that isn't stopping Courtney Sale Ross, the widow of late media mogul Steve Ross, from putting one of the most expensive apartments in Manhattan on the market. Max Abelson of the Observer reports that Edward Lee Cave is now "quietly taking offers" on Ross' 32-room duplex at 740 Park Avenue. The price? Over $60 million. [NYO]
