Calvin Klein Strikes Again | Remember that "controversial" Calvin Klein ad that went up this summer and then had to be taken down after a bunch of residents complained? The publicity stunt garnered tons of press, so now the company is back for more. An underwear ad featuring a "sweaty, glistening" Eva Mendes "tugging at the boxer briefs of a studly man" has gone up in its place and already outraged locals are speaking out against the "pornography" that's taking over the neighborhood. If all goes according to plan, you can expect Calvin Klein to cave in and take the ad down in about three weeks. And you can expect the next titillating billboard to go up again in three months. There's been lots of depressing news about the state of the Hamptons real estate market in recent weeks. Today, however, there's a bit of good news to report: Calvin Klein has finally started demolishing Dragon's Head, the tacky 50,000-square-foot castle in Southampton that he bought a few years ago. Back in January, when Calvin Klein Jeans first revealed its new ad campaign shot by renowned photog Steven Meisel, company execs said it was so unbelievably racy, they wouldn't even be able to buy commercials on cable TV. Hamptons architecture buffs, take note: Now would be a good time to get a last look at Dragon's Head, the gaudy 50,000-square-foot castle in Southampton that Calvin Klein purchased several years ago. It's just a few months away from demolition now that Southampton's Village Board of Historic Preservation and Architectural Review has removed the last bit of red tape and ruled its interiors have no historical value. What can you expect to find on the property a couple of years from now? At the Jill Stuart show on Monday, a publicist barked "Show your fucking ring!" to Bethenny Frankel as The Real Housewives of New York star was getting her photo taken.
