Alexis Stewart Re-Lists in Tribeca

146354• Alexis Stewart is hoping the third time is the charm when it comes to unloading her apartment at 27 North Moore Street. The 3,884-square-foot duplex penthouse loft, which Stewart tried to sell for $12.4 million in both 2007 and 2008, was taken off the market most recently this past July. But now the apartment is back—and it's sporting a higher price tag, too. The loft is currently listed for $12.95 million with Prudential Douglas Elliman's Dolly Lenz. [Cityfile, PDE]
• Jude Law is renting a three-bedroom apartment at the Novare on West 4th Street. What he's paying for the rental isn't clear, but the 3,500-square-foot apartment is up for sale for $7.8 million if you're interested. [NYP, BHS]More

John Mack Picks Up East 70th Townhouse

144913• Morgan Stanley CEO John Mack and his wife Christy appear to be the mystery buyers behind last month's purchase of the limestone carriage house at 165 East 70th Street. The 107-year-old home, which was sold to Mack in "distressed condition" for $13.5 million—and which comes with a 12-car garage, believe it or not—was purchased from Bunny Mellon, the 99-year-old widow of philanthropist Paul Mellon. • Sandy Gallin, the Hollywood talent manager-turned-serial house flipper, is at it again. The onetime manager of stars like Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand, Gallin has placed his 14-acre estate in Bridgehampton on the market for $32 million. [WSJ, Saunders]
• Steve Black, co-CEO of JP Morgan's investment banking division, has sold his estate in Greenwich for $18.9 million. The English-style mansion, which Black bought for $13.75 million in 2001, had been "quietly" on the market for $21 million. The buyer is believed to be to be investor Gerhard Andlinger. [WSJ]More

The Trumps Expand, Mortgage Exec Takes a Loss

144282• It looks like Don Trump Jr. and his wife Vanessa are spreading out a bit. A week after the couple paid $1.125 million for an 1,800-square-foot apartment on the 12th floor of The Sovereign on East 58th Street, they've now paid another $1.595 million for the apartment next door. [Cityfile]
• Douglas Lebda, the founder of LendingTree, has gone into contract to sell his penthouse at the Legacy on East 84th Street. After more than nine months on the market, Lebda is taking a loss on the sale of the 5,175-square-foot apartment. Purchased for $8.6 million in 2007, the mortgage exec is reportedly selling it for "close to" its listing price of $7.5 million. [NYT, BHS]More

144100Say hello to a new member of the Hamptons social set: Vince Shlomi, the man better known as the Vince the ShamWow guy, who, much to the surprise of those in attendance, put in an appearance at the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field this past weekend. Shlomi says he's here in New York because "branching out from infomercials" with some sort of "movie project," and he also plans to design "some swimwear lines" with his new business partner, model Courtney Bingham. More

Half-Off at The Dakota, Solomon Buys Hamptons Estate

143640• A sixth-floor apartment at The Dakota, which is owned by an unidentified "Wall Street executive," has been cut for the third time since hitting the market in June 2008 with a $24 million price tag. The four-bedroom co-op is now listed for a mere $12.5 million. [Cityfile, BHS]
• Investment banker (and onetime deputy mayor) Peter J. Solomon is reportedly the buyer in contract to buy the former East Hampton estate of the late actress Mary Howard de Liagre. Solomon is paying "close to" the $22.5 million asking price for the estate, which includes a 3,500-square-foot home, 300 feet of waterfront, and a dock. [NYP, Sotheby's]
• Investor Enrique Foster Gittes has once again cut the price of his 13,000-square-foot mansion at 12 East 63rd Street. The six-floor townhouse, which Gittes bought for $8.8 million in 2005, put on the market for $28.75 million in April, and reduced to $24.95 million last month, is now on the market with Brown Harris Stevens' Paula Del Nunzio for $23.5 million. A Real Estate Exec Sells, A Kushner Buys

143114• Lee Neibart, a partner at Apollo Real Estate Advisors, and his wife Joyce, have closed on the sale of their 16th-floor apartment at 15 Central Park West, which they went into contract to sell back in May. The three-bedroom condo sold to a company called J & K Park Properties for $7.5 million, or $500,000 more than what the couple paid for apartment in January. [Cityfile]
• Real estate heiress Melissa Kushner—she's the  daughter of Murray Kushner, niece of Charles Kushner, and Jared Kushner's first cousin—has paid $2.225 million for a three-bedroom condo at 534 Hudson Street with her husband, Jeremy Kaplan. [Cityfile]More

A Contract at 15 CPW, Signs of Life at the Plaza

142228• Attorney Bruce Kaye and his wife Deborah have found a buyer for their two-bedroom condo at 15 CPW. The 32nd-floor apartment, which the Kayes bought for $7.8 million last July and put back on the market for $11.9 million in April, went into contract last week. [Cityfile, MRP]
• More moves at the Plaza: Oscar Schafer, managing partner of OSS Capital Management, has gone into contract to sell his 17th-floor apartment, which had been listed most recently at $12.5 million. And Guy Wildenstein has taken $3 million off the price of his Frank Lloyd Wright Suite, which is now listed with Corcoran's Carrie Chiang for $18.5 million. [NYTWarburg, Corcoran]
• Bruce Lisman, the former co-head of global equities at Bear Stearns, has gone into contract to sell his apartment at 923 Fifth Avenue, nearly two-and-a-half years after he first put it on the market. The four-bedroom condo had most recently been listed at $16.75 million. [Cityfile, BHS]
• Marc Dreier's two Hamptons properties sold for a combined $10.4 million at auction last week, which is about $2 million less than they were expected to fetch. [Law.com via Curbed]More

The Bronfmans Head to London, Tim Geithner Rents

141422Edgar Bronfman Jr. and wife Clarissa are putting down roots in London. The couple has picked up a "posh house" in Kensington and plan to relocate with their four kids by the end of the summer, although the Warner Music chairman/billionaire heir says he plans to divide his time between London and NYC. • Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has taken $60,000 off the price of his Westchester home. The five-bedroom Tudor in Larchmont, which went on the market for $1.635 in March, has been reduced to $1.575 million. He's since rented out the house for $7,500 a month so he can "wait until the real estate market rebounds a bit." [Luxist, HL]
• Russian communications mogul Timur Artemiev, who co-founded the country's largest mobile phone retailer, has picked up a New York pied-à-terre. Artemiev paid $1.39 million for a two-bedroom condo at the Chelsea Stratus on West 24th Street. [Cityfile] More

A $4.6 Million Price Cut on East 84th Street

139448• Lily Lee Lee Wong has chopped $4.6 million off the price of her 115-year-old townhouse at 21 East 84th Street (left), which she purchased for $12.1 million in June 2007 and re-listed for $24.5 million just a month later. The 22-foot wide home is now on the market for $19.9 million. [Cityfile, Bellmarc]
• Bridgehampton's Stone Meadow Farm, which Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon paid $125,000 to rent for one week last summer, has gone into contract. It was most recently listed at $15.9 million. [Newsday, Corcoran]More

Paltrow's Hamptons Expansion, Another 15 CPW Listing

134991• It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow's Amagansett property is about to get a bit bigger. A trust in her late father's name paid $2.8 million last month for 2.32 acres of land that just so happens to be adjacent to properties already owned by Gwyneth and her mom, Blythe Danner. [Newsday]
• Apollo Real Estate partner Lee Neibart, who paid $7 million for a 16th-floor condo at 15 CPW earlier this month, has already re-listed the three-bedroom pad. It's now on the market for $8.2 million. [Cityfile, BHS]
• The 13-bedroom, Georgian-style mansion at 152-156 East 81st Street, which was listed for $45 million in October, is now available at a discount. The 12,000-square-foot manse is now a mere $42 million. [Cityfile, Sotheby's] More
