Cityfile: New York's Most Notable and Influential

• Jann Wenner and his partner, Matt Nye, will soon be moving into new digs in Montauk. The founder of Rolling Stone and publisher of Us Weekly and Men's Journal is paying $11.9 million for a 6,300-square-foot home on Old Montauk Highway. The waterfront property had been been originally listed for $14.9 million. [NYP, Corcoran]
• Whitney Houston has put her New Jersey home on the market. The 12,561-square-foot manse in Mendham Township is listed for $2.5 million; her guest cottage next door is no longer available, however. [Real Estalker, CB]
• Real estate developer Ara Hovnanian may have found a buyer for his fourth-floor apartment at 820 Fifth Avenue. Five months after the co-op's board rejected Jeff Blau's $31 million offer, the board has reportedly given the go-ahead to Ken Griffin, the CEO of Chicago-based Citadel Investment Group. The hedge fund billionaire is expected to pay "just under" $35 million. [NYP]
• It looks like Katie Lee is getting the West Village townhouse as part of her split from Billy Joel. The cookbook author is paying Joel $3 million for his share of the the Perry Street home, which the couple purchased in 2005 for $5.9 million. [NYO]

• Real estate prices are plummeting and deep-pocketed buyers are hard to come by, but that hasn't changed things at 820 Fifth, the notoriously picky co-op where 89-year-old socialite Jayne Wrightsman reigns supreme. Jeff Blau, the 41-year-old president of The Related Companies, had been willing to pay a whopping $31 million for developer Ara Hovnanian's fourth-floor apartment. But Blau and his wife Lisa were told to get lost even before they had a chance to interview (and despite an intervention by the mayor). At least they're in good company: Ron Perelman, casino mogul Steve Wynn, and oil heir Fred Koch are all past rejectees. [NYO]
• Stuart Parr—furniture designer, scenester, and boyfriend of socialite Allison Sarofim—has sold his condo at 25 Fifth Avenue for $1.35 million. [Cityfile]
• Poker champion Vadim Trincher has picked up a three-bedroom, 3,073-square-foot condo on the 63rd floor of the Trump Tower for $5 million. [P6]
• Kirsten Dunst's LA home can be yours for $1.7 million. [Real Estalker]

• Real estate titan Ara Hovnanian and his wife Rachel have quietly listed their co-op at 820 Fifth Avenue. The 6,500-square-foot apartment, which happens to be former home of Tommy Hilfiger, can be yours for $36 million via broker Serena Boardman, provided you can pass muster with a board known for having the "strongest chins, highest noses and cruelest standards." • Developer Louis Cappelli and his wife, actress Kylie Travis, have put their apartment at 515 Park Avenue on the market. The 6,500-square-foot, 13-room, six-bedroom spread is priced at $29.5 million. [NYO, BHS]
• New York Mortgage Trust founder Steven Schnall and his wife Sherri have put their townhouse at 2 North Moore Street back on the market. The 11,000-square-foot behemoth is now listed for $33 million. [Curbed, Real Deal]
